The Ice Hockey team traveled to Reading, PA to play Penn State Berks in an ECHA league game. Lehigh bested Berks earlier in the season in a non-league match up by a socre of 6 to 5.
Berks scored the first 3 goals in period one including a power play goal. Lehigh battled with a short roster and scored to open up the 2nd period. On the power play, Cody Triolo, moved the puck to his left to Keith Calvaruso who spotted Nick Ramondelli open in the slot. Calvaruso made a perfect pass that Ramondelli shot past the Berks goalie. Berks matched the goal to keep their lead to 3 goals at 4-1.
Ramondelli scored again on the power play with a pass from Jason Langevin. Calvaruso assisted. Berks scored the final goal of the second period to make the score 5-2.
A tired Lehigh team played hard in the third period but could not get any more pucks past the Berks goalie. Berks added a sixth goal and went on to win 6-2.
