BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Two Lehigh wrestlers have been selected to compete at the 2025 NWCA All-Star Classic, set for Saturday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Rutgers' Jersey Mikes Arena. Seniors Sheldon Seymour (125) and Max Brignola (165) have been selected to compete in two of the 10 Division I matchups at the annual exhibition.
Â
Seymour is slated to face Eddie Ventresca of Virginia Tech at 125, while Brignola will wrestle against Stanford's Hunter Garvin at 165.
Â
A 2025 NCAA All-American, Seymour posted a 22-6 mark last season. He won an EIWA Championship at 125 and reached the NCAA semifinals before finishing in sixth place.
Â
Seymour is ranked fifth at 125 in FloWrestling's latest preseason rankings, while Ventresca comes in at No. 4. The All-Star match will be a rematch from last year's NCAA fifth place bout, won by Ventresca 11-4.
Â
Brignola deferred his eligibility last season, going 15-0 while competing unattached while moving up to 165. He is a two-time NCAA qualifier, wrestling at the NCAA Championships as a true first year at 149 in 2022 and at 157 in 2024.
Â
Garvin finished sixth at last year's NCAA Championships and enters the season ranked fourth at 165. Brignola is ranked seventh.
Â
Seymour and Brignola will be the first Lehigh wrestlers to compete at the NWCA All-Star Classic since Connor McGonagle competed and won his match at 133 in 2023.
Â
The NWCA All-Star Classic will be broadcast on FloWrestling.org with tickets available HERE. The event kicks off a season-opening weekend in New Jersey for the Mountain Hawks, who will send a large contingent to the Nov. 2 Princeton Open in the team's first official competition of the 2025-26 season.
