Lehigh Loses in Battle against SUNY Cortland

On Saturday Lehigh ended their weekend at the Cortland campus with a 5-3 loss. Cortland scored first in the first period, but towards the end the new power play unit known as the Grit Line managed to tie up the game with a shot from the point by Jake Levine who received a pass from the corner by Eric Del Gizzo.
ÂGoing into the second Cortland scored two more on Lehigh making the score 3-1.
ÂNeeding a momentum change going into the 3rd period the Mountain Hawks tried to make a quick comeback but despite their efforts it was not enough to get the win. Cortland scored two more each were answered by Lehigh. One was scored by Ryder Griffith in front of Cortland's net and the other was scored by Keith Calvaruso who scored from the slot with Eric Del Gizzo and Andres Binotto assisting.
ÂLehigh will face Navy at Home on Oct 27th at 745 pm and PSU Berks at their arena on Oct 28th at 5 pm.
