Madeline Arnold joined Lehigh as the assistant director of sports communication in June 2023. She oversees Lehigh Athletics' graphic design along with being the primary contact for women's soccer, field hockey, track and field and women's lacrosse. Arnold is heavily involved in the 50 Years of Women in Lehigh Athletics committee and other DIEAR initiatives through graphic design.
Arnold comes to Bethlehem from cross-town rival Lafayette where she spent a year on the athletic communications staff as Athletic Communications Assistant. Her primary sport responsibilities included men's soccer, women's basketball and men's lacrosse.

A 2022 Temple graduate, Arnold was a four-year member of the Division I women’s field hockey team. After a career-ending injury, she became an outspoken activist for mental health and injury across college athletics and beyond.

During her time as an Owl, Arnold founded the Student-Athlete Mental Health Advocates (SAMHA) group in conjunction with Temple’s sports psychology department. The group’s mission is to help normalize the conversation surrounding student-athlete mental health.

Arnold was also a guest on the podcasts Unit3d by the Hilinski’s Hope Foundation, and Uncommon Conversations by USA Field Hockey team captain and Lafayette graduate Amanda Magadan (‘17).

She was a three-year member of the NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad, and a four-year member of Temple’s Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

The Coopersburg, Pa. native graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in Communications and Social Activism.

Older sisters Katelyn Arnold and Kristin Arnold-Boyer played field hockey at Lafayette College and West Chester University, respectively.
