David Troyan

No stranger to the Lehigh Athletics and Lehigh softball world, David Troyan enters his fourth season on the Lehigh softball staff. He will serve as Lehigh's sports performance coach after serving as volunteer assistant the previous three seasons. Troyan, the son of Fran and former Lehigh women’s basketball coach and now Deputy Athletic Director Sue Troyan, is a 2020 Lehigh graduate who served as a team manager for the Mountain Hawks prior to joining the coaching staff.
During the 2023 season, Troyan was part of the staff that saw the Mountain Hawks post six top-75 RPI wins including an opening day triumph at No. 7 Alabama.
In Troyan’s first year on the coaching staff, Lehigh captured its 15th Patriot League championship.
Troyan earned his degree in sociology in 2020 and is finishing his masters in educational leadership at Lehigh. He also currently works as a Division I women’s basketball referee.
