Chernow mentored three all-league players during the season: Maddie Albrecht (First Team), Ella Stemmer (Second Team), and Belle Bramer (All-Rookie). Albrecht made program history as the first player to earn both All-League and All-Defensive Team honors in the same season. Albrecht also excelled academically, being named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Chernow came to Lehigh following a four-year stint at Wheaton College (Mass.) from 2020-24. She was named the interim head coach at Wheaton during the 2023-24 and an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator from 2020-23. As the interim head coach, Chernow guided Wheaton to double digit wins in 2023-24, for the second straight season. The previous year, as an assistant coach, the Lyons also achieved double digit wins and made a NEWMAC Conference Tournament appearance, both for the first time in seven years. During the 2021-22 season, Chernow's second season with the Lyons, Chernow coached and helped develop the NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, Abby Fernandes, becoming just the second player in program history to receive that honor.ÂÂ
