Leary Announces 11 Signees To Incoming Class

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Peter E. Bennett '63 head baseball coach Sean Leary, now entering his 31st season at the helm of the program, has announced the signing of 11 newcomers, including ten first-years and one transfer student-athlete.

"Coach Pat Knight did a great job building this class," said Leary. "We expect an immediate impact in some areas.  This group also adds greater depth and competition for our program."

Six different states are represented in the incoming class, including Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.

Logan Correll – P – West Grove, Pa. – Episcopal Academy
Correll joins the program from West Grove, Pennsylvania where he starred at Episcopal Academy. Correll was a second team All-Conference team selection, posted over 100 career strikeouts and was a 2025 runner-up in PAISSA state championship. He comes from a family of athletes, as his mother Jennifer played soccer at Penn State and his sister Sydney plays lacrosse for UMass Lowell.

Max Dantoni – INF – Oceanport, N.J. – Red Bank Catholic
Dantoni brings an accomplished resume to the Lehigh baseball program. He boasts a career .311 batting average, had 50 career stolen bases, was an All-Shore Conference selection, a 2023 Non-Public A South state champion, a two-time Shore Conference champion and a one-time Monmouth County champion. Dantoni also played at the club level for the .9ers Baseball Club. In the classroom, Dantoni was named to the honor roll all four years and was a member of the National Honors Society.

Sam Fairhurst – RHP – Reston, Va. – Herndon (Catholic U.)
Fairhurst comes to Lehigh by way of Catholic University where he spent his first two collegiate seasons. Last season, Fairhurst was an ABCA Third Team All-Region 5 selection, an All-Landmark Honorable Mention selection and was the NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week. Fairhurst set a Landmark Conference record, tossing 17 strikeouts against Wilkes on March 30. In high school, Fairhurst was named to the second team All-Liberty District and was a Northern Region 6D champion.

Silvio Giardina – INF – Pittson, Pa. – Pittson Area
Giardina brings a plethora of accomplishments with him to Lehigh. In 2025, he was selected to the inaugural Pennsylvania State Baseball All-Star team, was selected to the PIAA District 2 5A Second Team All-State team, earned the PIAA District 2 5A Male Scholarship Athlete Award, won the District 2 5A Baseball Championship and won the Wyoming Valley Conference Baseball Championship. Giardina was also an accomplished basketball player in high school, earning a first team selection for the Times Leader All-WVC Basketball. Academically, Giardina was in the Pittson Area Gifted Program and recipient of the Joseph D. Ranieli Memorial Scholarship and the SCHOTT North American Academic Scholarship.

Robby Grasso – OF/INF/P – Lafayette Hill, Pa. – St. Joseph's Preparatory School
Grasso heads up north from Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania to join the Mountain Hawks. During his time at St. Joseph's Preparatory School, Grasso was a First Team All-Catholic (PCL) selection and was a PSBCA All-State selection. Grasso also competed in indoor track in high school.

Nick Hayden – RHP – Marlboro, N.J. – Colts Neck
Hayden comes to Bethlehem from Marlboro, N.J. and Colts Neck High School. The right-handed pitcher struck out 36 batters and earned a 1.95 ERA as a junior and earned All-Division honors as a senior. Hayden's father Alex pitched collegiately at Penn. In the classroom, Hayden was a four-year honor roll student.

Ryan Holman – RHP – Basking Ridge, N.J. – Delbarton School
Holman will join the program from Basking Ridge, N.J. and the Delbarton School where he was a two-time second team All-Conference selection. He was named to the Headmasters Honor Roll all four years at Delbarton, the highest honors achievable at the school. Holman's father, Paul, played baseball collegiately at Saint Peter's.

Parker Ivy – C – Heath, Texas – Rockwall Heath
Hailing from Heath, Texas, Ivy makes the furthest trip to Bethlehem of anyone in the incoming class. Ivy was a three-year varsity starter at Rockwall Heath High School, earning honorable mention All-District as a sophomore and All-District honors in his junior and senior seasons. Ivy also participated in varsity basketball as a freshman and sophomore at Rockwall Heath. Outside of high school, Ivy played for the Dallas Tigers Hernandez summer team, was selected for the PBR Senior Futures Games with Team Texas and was awarded the Ryan Roberson Memorial Scholarship. Ivy's father Jeff played college basketball at Abilene Christian and his uncle Choo Freeman played in the MLB with the Colorado Rockies.

Christopher Nell – RHP – New Hyde Park, N.Y. – The Stony Brook School
Nell, a 6'4 pitcher from Long Island, starred at The Stony Brook School. As a senior, Nell recorded a 1.47 ERA with 50 strikeouts and a 5-0 record in 33 innings pitched. He was named All-League, won a NYSAIS state championship in 2024 and played in the NHSI USA Baseball Tournament in Cary, Nort Carolina in 2025. In addition to baseball, Nell also played basketball and hockey. In the classroom, Nell graduated in the high honor roll from The Stony Brook School. Nell's father, Chris, played baseball collegiately at Hofstra.

Jackson Shepelsky – P – Scarsdale, N.Y. – Brunswick School (CT)
Shepelsky joins the program from Scarsdale, New York by way of the Brunswick School in Connecticut. At Brunswick, Shepelsky was named as an All-FAA Second Team selection as a sophomore and All-NESPAC Honorable Mention as a sophomore and junior. During his sophomore season, Brunswick won the NESPAC championship. Academically, Shepelsky was on the honor roll all four years and high honor roll as a senior.

Declan Wilkes – RHP – Reading, Mass. – Buckingham Browne and Nichols School
Wilkes comes to Bethlehem from Reading, Massachusetts and Buckingham Browne and Nichols School. While there, Wilkes was an All-NEPSAC selection as a senior and earned a Golden Glove for catching during his sophomore season. In addition to baseball, Wilkes was a four-year member of the varsity ice hockey team. In the classroom, Wilkes maintained a 3.8 unweighted GPA, was the school geography bee champion and qualified for the state geography bee. Wilkes' mother, Eileen, played soccer and softball collegiately at Babson College.
