Johnson Receives Rookie of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh first-year Eliza Johnson was named the Patriot League Women's Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
Johnson won both of her individual events at Lehigh's dual meet against Drexel. She first won the 100-yard individual medley, swimming 59.37. She then followed that up in the 50-yard backstroke, where she narrowly won by two-hundredths of a second with a time of 26.98.
Johnson also competed in the 200-yard medley relay. She was the leadoff leg for the relay team that placed third.
Johnson and the Mountain Hawks' next competition is on January 10, when they host Marist at home in Jacobs Pool.
