ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Lehigh women's soccer team dropped its Patriot League opener to Navy 1-0 on Friday night in Annapolis.

Junior Corinne Lyght led Lehigh with four shots while fellow junior Hope Flanegin booted three.

The contest remained scoreless through the first half with Navy holding an 8-6 advantage in shots. Sophomore goalkeeper Maggie Ousouljoglou made four saves for the Mountain Hawks prior to intermission.

The lone goal of the match occurred in the 48th minute when Navy's Alexa Riddle scored in the bottom left of the goal.

Lehigh had a 7-5 shot advantage in the second half, also leading 4-1 in corner kicks in the final 45 minutes.

Ousouljoglou made seven saves in net, while Navy's Mattie Gallagher recorded three.

The Mountain Hawks (3-2-3, 0-1 PL) head to cross-town rival Lafayette on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. start.
