Lehigh drops tough battle at Army

Army built a two-goal lead in the first half, and things looked as though the defending league champions might cruise to victory.  Tina Connors gave the Black Knights a one-goal advantage just 
However, as usual, the gritty Lehigh team refused to give in.  The Mountain Hawks got on the board in the 67th minute when freshman Lauren Fornuto scored her first collegiate goal from outside the box.  Exactly four minutes later, Lehigh drew even as Gina Lewandowski scored her team best fifth goal of the season off a pass from Meghan Duesing to tie the match at 2.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first overtime period, though Lehigh came close.  Senior Adrienne Grunwald hit the crossbar from inside the box in the final minute of the period, sending the contest to a second sudden-victory frame.
In the second OT, Army settled the decision fairly quickly, as Jen Pascucci hit the back of the net just 
Lehigh returns to action Friday, as the Mountain Hawks take on
