Lehigh closed its 2008 season out in fashion on Tuesday as the Mountain Hawks took the top three spots en route to winning the Gettysburg Spring Invitational on The Links at Gettysburg course.  Lehigh shot a 325 to finish in front of Kutztown (340), West Chester (399) and Delaware (DNF).  Livia Amado finished first for Lehigh as she was the lone player to shoot under 80 with a 79, while Emily Endres shot an 81 and Ana Nam tied for third with an 82.  Caroline Boyer finished fifth after shooting an 83.

Lehigh finished up competition at the Columbia Invitational on Saturday as the Mountain Hawks finished 12th out of 14 competing schools with a three-round total of 1070 (365, 356, 349).  Livia Amado led Lehigh with a score of 255 (87, 85, 83), finishing in a tie for 33rd place, while Jen Nagel tied for 47th place with a total score of 264 (87, 91, 86).  BYU won the overall team championship with a score of 942 (324, 314, 304) and was followed by Harvard (965), Yale (988), Wofford (996) and Georgetown (997).

On the strength of Ana Nam’s first place individual finish, Lehigh won the Muhlenberg Invitational at Lehigh Country Club on Monday afternoon.  The Mountain Hawks shot a 341 on the par-70, 5843-yard course, led by Nam’s one round score of 80.  Teammates Livia Amado (82) and Yvonne Kukora (86) finished second and fourth, respectively, while Caroline Boyer placed 14th with a one-round total of 93.  Kutztown (354) finished second in the team standings, followed by McDaniel (385), Gettysburg (391) and New York University (398).

Lehigh finished up competition at the Hoya Invitational on Tuesday and the Mountain Hawks placed tenth out of 14 schools in attendance with a score of 1004 (331, 333, 340).  Livia Amado was Lehigh’s top finisher with a three round score of 246 (80, 79, 87) as she tied for 31st place overall.  Princeton won the overall team crown as the Tigers shot a 918 (310, 307, 301) led by individual champion Susannah Aboff who shot a 221 (75, 74, 72).  Rollins College (921), Yale (927), Nova Southeastern University (934) and Georgetown (950) rounded out the top-five.
