The Lehigh swimming and diving teams dominated archrival Lafayette on Friday evening inside Jacobs Pool as the women notched a 194-104 victory over the Leopards and the Mountain Hawk men scored an impressive 214-84 win.  It marks the second consecutive season in which the Brown and White swept its rival and the 19th straight win for the Lehigh men over the Leopards.  Tyler Lareau and Allison Rolish posted three victories apiece in the big rivalry win.  “We are glad that everything went the way we expected,” Mountain Hawks head coach Rob Herb said afterwards.  “Our kids have worked hard for this and it was a great night for Lehigh swimming and diving.”

No. 14 Lehigh suffered its first dual loss of the season and saw its 11-dual win streak come to an end as the Mountain Hawks fell 22-12 to No. 5 Ohio State Friday night at St. John Arena. The host Buckeyes won six of ten bouts and scored bonus points at 125 and 165, while one-point victories at 184 and 197 clinched the win for Ohio State in its home opener, while Lehigh falls to 3-1.

After a little bit of a scare to start the second half the Lehigh women’s basketball team was able to settle down and defeat St. Francis (Pa.) 75-63 Friday night at Stabler Arena. The Mountain Hawks went into halftime with a 15 point lead, but the Red Flash were able to cut it to seven early in the second half. Junior Erica Prosser, with a game-high 24 points, helped Lehigh respond to improve to 3-1 on the season.

With the 145th meeting of college football’s most-played rivalry set to kick off Saturday afternoon at Goodman Stadium, fans interested in following the action can catch the game through a number of broadcast outlets...

 The Lehigh volleyball team returns to the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2003 this Saturday at West Point. The Mountain Hawks defeated Holy Cross 3-1 last Friday night to clinch the final spot in the tournament. Lehigh will face the first place Army Black Knights at 4 p.m. from Gillis Field House. The Brown and White finished the season 14-15 overall and 7-7 in Patriot League play.
