Late rally spurs Lehigh to 500th program win

The Lehigh men’s soccer team earned their 500th win in program history in dramatic fashion, erasing a two-goal deficit in the second half to defeat Princeton, 3-2, at the Ulrich Sports Complex on Tuesday night. Senior captain James Graf and juniors Neal Melchionni and Joe Puleo tallied goals for Lehigh, which improved to 2-1 on the season with the win.

Mountain Hawks open home slate against defending champs

Lehigh opens its home schedule Saturday afternoon against the defending FCS National Champion Villanova Wildcats. The Mountain Hawks’ season-opening trip to Iowa was a success as Lehigh rode 21 early points to a 28-14 win over Drake. Hat-trick nets Carlos PL weekly honor

After netting Lehigh’s first hat-trick since 2004, senior forward Liz Carlos was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. Carlos netted all three goals for the Mountain Hawks, who built a 3-0 lead over Quinnipiac on Sunday before holding on for a 3-2 win, the first in the Brown and White for Lehigh head coach Eric Lambinus.
