Three members of the Lehigh track and field teams competed on the final day of the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass. Seniors Nick Ray and Ashlee Atwell, as well as, sophomore Stephen Tutunjian were all in action.

The Lehigh track and field teams finished up the first day of the IC4A/ECAC Championships in Boston, Mass. on Saturday. The men’s team currently sits in 13th place out of 22 teams with 5.5 points at the IC4A Championship. At the ECAC Championship the women’s team will have the opportunity to score points on Sunday. Senior Khalil Uqdah and sophomore Stephen Tutunjian both finished in the top-six in their respective events.

The Lehigh track and field teams will close out the indoor season this weekend at the IC4A/ECAC Championships in Boston, Mass. The men’s team will compete at the IC4A Championship at Boston University, while the women will compete in the ECAC Championship at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center.

The 2010 Patriot League Indoor Track and Field Championships have come to a conclusion as the Lehigh women finished in third place, while the men finished in sixth at Army’s Gillis Field House on Sunday. The women ended up with 92 points and missed out on second place by four points. The men collected 33 of their 41 points on the final day to make a late push up the standings. Senior Khalil Uqdah, the Field Athlete of the Meet, set a new Patriot League record in the pole vault with a vault of 17’ 3.5”.

After two days at the Patriot League Indoor Championships at Army’s Gillis Field House, the Lehigh track and field teams are in good positions heading into the final day. The women’s team, with 38 points, is right behind Bucknell and Navy who are tied for first place with 43 points. The men are currently in sixth place with only eight points, but expect a big final day in West Point.
