Lehigh names Brian Conley Head Rowing Coach

Following a lengthy and thorough national search, Lehigh University has named Brian Conley as the Steven J. ’69 and Karen A. Lee Head Rowing Coach. Conley spent the last four seasons working with the lightweight crew at Dartmouth College. He will be responsible for the oversight of Lehigh’s women’s and men’s rowing programs and will coach the women’s varsity boats.

Six Mountain Hawks named to rowing honor roll

The Patriot League announced the 2010 rowing Academic Honor Roll on Monday and Lehigh placed six student-athletes on the list. Senior Whitney Levine, sophomore Jacqueline Ogden, and freshman Alyssa Klein all led the Mountain Hawks, earning perfect 4.0 grade point averages in the spring.

Meltzer steps down as head rowing coach

Liz Meltzer has decided to step down from her position as Steven J. and Karen A. Lee Head Rowing Coach at Lehigh University. Meltzer has been at Lehigh since 2005, first serving as a part-time assistant coach for the Mountain Hawks rowing program before becoming the first-ever full time assistant coach in 2006 and eventually the head coach in 2007 following the departure of Paul Savell.
