The Lehigh rowing team wrapped up its fall season on Sunday with an impressive effort at the Braxton Regatta. The Mountain Hawks saw five crews post top-three finishes to lead the way. In the process, Lehigh wrapped up a successful fall season as focus now shifts into winter training before the spring campaign begins in March.

Mountain Hawks enjoy success at Frostbite Regatta

The Lehigh rowing team kicked off a busy weekend at the Frostbite Regatta on Saturday where it enjoyed success. The Mountain Hawks finished near the top of numerous races, including a first-place finish from the Women’s Freshmen Eight. Lehigh returns to action in 24 hours at the Braxton Regatta, also on the Cooper River.

Mountain Hawks return to action at Frostbite & Braxton Regattas

Following a week off, the Lehigh rowing team returns to action this weekend when it competes in the Frostbite and Braxton Regattas on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J. The Mountain Hawks enjoyed tremendous success at both regattas last year, finishing near the top of almost every race which included a total of seven gold medals over the two days.

Lehigh Sports Magazine returns Monday

Following a week off due to the football bye week, the Lehigh Sports Magazine television show returns to the airwaves on Monday as head coach Andy Coen looks back at Saturday’s 45-25 win over Colgate. In addition, coaches Brian Conley (rowing) and Jill Redfern (women’s lacrosse) join WFMZ’s Jim Vaughn as special guests. The show will air at 8:30 p.m. on WFMZ-TV channel 69.
