HISTORY
Built in 1977, Rauch Field House is the primary home for the Lehigh University's indoor men's and women's track program. This venue has 60,000 square feet of space with six lanes encircling the building in addition to ten straight lanes, two long jump pits, a pole vault pit, a high jump apron, a hammer/shot area, and updated Mondo X floor surface. Rauch Field House will host nearly forty high school and college indoor track meets each year with guests traveling from around the Middle Atlantic region.

This building also has a multi-purpose function as it is occupied nearly twelve months a year. It is used as an indoor practice facility for the Lehigh Athletics department while hosting numerous institutional and community events like trade expos, car shows, bridal shows, home shows and career fairs. It is also used extensively for camps/clinics. A sporting venue by its nature, Rauch Field House also has two indoor batting cages, a dividing wall seperating the venue in thirds for multi-use, and is an excellant space for indoor field hockey and other sports needing a large flat surface.
