WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – An opening round 310 Monday morning had the Lehigh women's golf team in the mix on day one of the William & Mary Intercollegiate, but an afternoon 326 dropped the Mountain Hawks from eighth to 12th in a 15-team field on the River Course at the Kingsmill Resort. Lehigh finished the first 36 holes of the 54-hole event with a score of 636.

Senior Megan Moylan carded an opening round 73, the best of the day for Lehigh, to lead the Mountain Hawks in the morning. An afternoon 80 has Moylan tied for 18th place at 153. Moylan leads the Mountain Hawks with 23 pars in her 36 holes.

Junior Reagan Jahn posted Lehigh's best round in the afternoon, with a three over par 75 as she rebounded from an opening round 81 to move into a tie for 29th place at 156.

Lehigh's next two lowest players were sophomores Minuette Laessig and Rebecca Markunas. Laessig is tied for 48th place at 161 (75-86), while Markunas shot 166 (81-85) and is tied for 65th.

Lehigh's fifth scoring player is freshman Alexis Browne, who shot 179 (84-95) and sits in 78th place.

Freshman Angela Ding posted the top score among the seven players competing as individuals as she is tied for 24th place at 155 (80-75). Ding also led all Lehigh players with eight birdies over her 36 holes.

A second round 294 has moved Richmond into the team lead at 597 (303-294) as the Spiders lead Akron by three strokes, while 18 hole leader St. John's is currently third, nine strokes behind Richmond.
