BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's lacrosse senior Allison LaBeau and junior Kierstyn Voiro were named to the All-ECAC second team on Tuesday, following strong performances this past season. Both first team All-Patriot League honorees in 2017, LaBeau and Voiro were two of just four players from the Patriot League to garner All-ECAC recognition. Lehigh's two honorees mark the most in the league.

LaBeau finished a tremendous season with 91 points (43 goals, 48 assists), currently good for 11th in the nation in points and seventh in points per game (5.06). The 91 points stand second in school history for a single season. Currently one of just five players in the nation to own more than 40 goals and 45 assists, LaBeau dominated Patriot League opponents, recording 64 points over 11 games (5.8 per contest). A member of the Patriot League All-Tournament team, LaBeau set a new league tournament record for single-game points (11) and assists (6) in Lehigh's dominant 15-5 quarterfinal victory over Bucknell. LaBeau finished the tournament tied for the league record for points (13) and assists (7) in a single tournament.

LaBeau tallied at least three points in every game during her senior campaign and recorded five or more points in 10 of her final 11 contests. LaBeau finished her career with points in 36 straight games, tallying eight hat tricks as a senior and 27 in her career. She stands as Lehigh's all-time leader for assists in a season (48) and career (105), and stands third in school history for career points (257). LaBeau won three Patriot League Attacker of the Week awards this season, garnering eight career weekly awards. She was a two-time Patriot League major award winner as well (Rookie of the Year in 2014 and Attacker of the Year in 2016).

Meanwhile, Voiro emerged as one of Lehigh's top defensive players, helping the Mountain Hawks finish second in the Patriot League in scoring defense (9.67), which is also currently good for 20th nationally. A key mark-up defender, Voiro was asked to cover many opponents' top players. In the end, Lehigh's defense allow seven goals or fewer on six occasions, which included allowing just four goals at Bucknell and three at Holy Cross.  Voiro finished second on the Mountain Hawks with 27 caused turnovers while she was fourth with 32 groundballs. Owning at least one caused turnover in 16-of-18 games, she added two goals and four assists as well. Voiro tallied a career-high six caused turnovers vs. Wagner to earn Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors. She also had three caused turnovers in Patriot League games - at Army and vs. Colgate.

The Mountain Hawks finished the 2017 season 12-6, improving their record over the last two seasons to 25-11 mark, tied for the third most wins over a two-year stretch in school history. Lehigh finished third in the Patriot League standings with a 6-3 league mark, its best finish since 2011.
