Pecora named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following a two-goal weekend, Drew Pecora of Lehigh field hockey has been named Patriot League Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday. Pecora scored both of the Mountain Hawks' goals, coming off penalty corners at Bucknell and home vs. Yale.

Pecora's goal on Friday at Bucknell came at the 16:30 mark, evening the score at one. On Sunday, Pecora scored at 40:04, corralling a loose ball in front of the cage and finishing her third goal of the season.

Pecora now has seven points on the year via three goals and an assist.

Lehigh returns to action on Friday when it hosts archrival Lafayette at 7 p.m.
