Innarella named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After impressing in her first collegiate action over the weekend, Lehigh field hockey freshman Paige Innarella has been named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week. Innarella stopped 11-of-13 shots sent her way over two games, playing in the second half vs. Bucknell and the entire contest against Providence.
 
Against the Bison, Innarella made four saves on five shots, helping keep the Mountain Hawks within striking distance until the very end as Lehigh dropped a slim 2-1 final.
 
Innarella then made her first-career against Providence Sunday, finishing with seven saves while allowing just one goal. She was part of a defense that held tough despite 21 Friars' shots. Providence entered the game averaging 2.43 goals per game, including six over its previous two games.
 
Innarella now owns a 1.33 GAA and .846 save percentage on the season.
 
The Mountain Hawks return to action this weekend when they head to our nation's capital to face American on Saturday (12 p.m.) and Georgetown on Sunday (1 p.m.).
