BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following six goals and seven points at Loyola Saturday, Lehigh women's lacrosse junior Allison LaBeau has been named Patriot League Attacker of the Week, as announced on Monday. LaBeau scored three of her goals over the final 13:23 of the second half to help the Mountain Hawks erase a late five-goal deficit and force overtime as Lehigh came close to handing the Greyhounds their first-ever Patriot League defeat. Prior to Saturday, the closest any other league opponent had ever come was three goals. LaBeau's career-high tying six goals helped her reach 100 in her career.

The award marks LaBeau's third Patriot League Attacker of the Week award this season and fifth of her career. She was also named Rookie of the Week as a freshman and Offensive Player of the Week as a sophomore.

On Saturday, Lehigh ended regulation on a 5-0 run over the final 11:38, with LaBeau scoring twice. She pulled the Mountain Hawks within 13-10 with 5:04 on the clock then 13-12 with 2:07 remaining. Earlier, LaBeau assisted on Lehigh's second goal of the game, which gave Lehigh a 2-0 lead. She added two straight goals at 15:57 and 13:20 of the first half to give the Mountain Hawks a 5-3 advantage. LaBeau's fourth goal of the game came at 13:23 of the second half, pulling Lehigh within 12-8.

In the end, LaBeau scored her six goals on seven shots, reaching seven or more points for a second straight contest and fourth time this season. Through 13 games, LaBeau leads the Patriot League and is among the national leaders with 64 points behind 37 goals and 27 assists.

The Mountain Hawks return home on Wednesday to host archrival Lafayette at 7 p.m.
