Lehigh completes first day at Kingsmill Intercollegiate in Virginia

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – With freshman Reagan Jahn leading the way, the Lehigh women's golf team opened up play with the first 36 holes of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate, hosted by William & Mary Monday on the River Course at the Kingsmill Resort. The Mountain Hawks posted rounds of 320 and 318 on Monday and are tied for 15th place after one day with their score of 638.
 
Jahn posted rounds of 76 and 77 Monday and finished day one in a tie for 16th place at nine over par 153.
 
After missing the spring-opening Lady EagleCat Invitational, senior Nicole Feierberg returned to action and matched Jahn with a 76 in Monday's morning round but shot 80 in the afternoon and sits in a tie for 37th place at 156.
 
Junior Elizabeth McGarrigle sits in a tie for 73rd place at 164 following consecutive rounds of 82.
 
Freshman Aileen Jeong bounced back after a rough morning round. After starting with an 86 in the morning, Jeong battled back to shoot 79 in the afternoon and sits in a tie for 75th at 165.
 
Lehigh's fifth player is sophomore Megan Moylan, who also posted a noticeable improvement from round one to round two, going from an 86 to an 82 to shoot 168 for the day and tie for 85th place.
 
Toledo holds the 36-hole team lead at 600 after rounds of 304 and 296. The Rockets lead Boston University by five strokes, while Delaware sits in third place, 13 strokes off the lead.
 
The only player under par through 36 holes is Alessandra Liu from hosts William & Mary who finished day one at one under par 143 (72-71). Liu leads Toledo's Sathika Ruenreong by one stroke.

The Kingsmill Intercollegiate concludes with the final 18 holes of play on Tuesday.
