Reilly Earns Academic All-Patriot League Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh junior cross country runner Patrick Reilly has been named Academic All-Patriot League for the second straight year, the league announced on Tuesday.
This is the third academic all-league honor for Reilly in his career, after having earned the distinction twice last year for both cross country as well as track and field. He is a four-time member of the Dean's List at Lehigh as well as the PL Academic Honor Roll. Last year also saw Reilly land on the USTFCCCA All-Academic team for both track and cross country. A political science major, Reilly holds a cumulative GPA of 4.0 through his first four semesters.
In order to be eligible for this honor, a student-athlete must have competed in at least 50 percent of his/her team's competitions and have a minimum 3.2 grade-point average.
In competition, Reilly earned Second Team All-Patriot League honors for the second straight season after finishing 14th overall at the league championships in October. He also finished 52nd out of 157 at the NCAA Regionals and was Lehigh's second place runner at the Spiked Shoe Invitational.
