C.J. McCollum: From Lehigh to the NBA

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh's own C.J. McCollum made history on June 27 by becoming the first player in school history selected in the NBA Draft. McCollum was picked 10th overall by the Portland Trail Blazers and proceeded to dominate the Las Vegas Summer League as the league's leading scorer. Lehighsports.com had a chance to catch up with McCollum (and Lehigh head coach Brett Reed) after a whirlwind of a month as he prepares for the NBA season which kicks off in October.
The NBA schedule was recently released, which sees McCollum and the Trail Blazers making several East Coast. Portland will play at Brooklyn on Nov. 18, Philadelphia on Dec. 14, Washington on Feb. 3 and New York on Feb. 5. For the Trail Blazers' complete schedule, please click here.
