BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the 10th time in her impressive career, senior E’Lana Lemon has been named the Patriot League’s Female Field Athlete of the Week after winning the weight throw at Saturday’s Army six-way meet with a toss of 17.66 meters. The award is the second this year for Lemon as she was also named the Female Field Athlete of the Week for the period ending on Dec. 2.

Her ECAC-qualifying throw of 17.66 meters was .46 meters ahead of the 27 competitors and is the top distance in the Patriot League this season. Lemon has claimed the honor four times in each of the past two seasons and has now won the weekly award twice during her 2012-13 campaign.

Lehigh will be back in action on Saturday, January 19 when it hosts the Angry Birds at Lehigh meet inside Rauch Fieldhouse beginning at 10 a.m.
