BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh sophomore Jenai Bilimoria has been named to the All-Patriot League women’s tennis second team, it was announced Tuesday. Bilimoria represented the Mountain Hawks at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles spots and consistently battled against the opposition’s top players. The All-League teams are voted on by the league’s head coaches.
 
Bilimoria played exclusively at the No. 1 singles spot for the Mountain Hawks, amassing an 8-10 singles record including a 3-2 mark in league matches. Her eight singles wins tied for the team lead. Bilimoria also teamed with freshman Abby Farrell at the top doubles flight and went 6-12 overall and 2-3 against league opponents.
 
In league play, Bilimoria picked up wins in both singles and doubles in Lehigh’s wins over Colgate and Lafayette. She also picked up one of two points for Lehigh in a loss to Bucknell and was ahead at No. 1 singles in the Mountain Hawks’ season-ending loss to the Bison in the Patriot League tournament.
 
Patriot League Champion Army placed five players on the All-League teams. The Black Knights’ Jamila Paul was named the league’s Player of the Year, while Army’s Natalie Allen was named Rookie of the Year. The Black Knights’ Paul Peck was honored as the league’s Coach of the Year.
 
Bilimoria is one of eight Mountain Hawks who will return for the 2012 season. Lehigh finished 2012 at 5-14.
