BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League announced Monday that Lehigh’s November 10 contest versus Colgate at Goodman Stadium will be one of two league football games televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. The two-time defending Patriot League champions will close out their regular season home schedule against the Raiders in a game that will kick off at 12:30 p.m. from Goodman Stadium.

Lehigh and Colgate are two of the winningest programs in Patriot League football history and their annual match-up generally has significant league championship implications. The Mountain Hawks won their league-best tenth Patriot League football title in 2011, posting an 11-2 overall record and advancing to the NCAA quarterfinals for the first time since 2001. Lehigh has won its last 14 games against Patriot League opponents, dating back to the end of the 2009 season. Colgate will be looking to bounce back from a 5-6 campaign in 2011.

This marks the second straight season the Lehigh-Colgate game will be televised on the CBS Sports Network. Last season the Mountain Hawks handed the Raiders their only home loss, building an early lead and holding off a second-half Colgate rally to pick up their sixth straight win, 45-25 in Hamilton, N.Y. Running back Zach Barket led the Mountain Hawks, rushing for a career-high 188 yards and scoring four total touchdowns.

The Mountain Hawks will be gunning for their third straight win over the Raiders.

The remainder of Lehigh’s television football package for the 2012 season will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the Lehigh-Colgate tilt, the league’s other football game on CBS Sports Network will be played on September 22 when Bucknell hosts Lafayette at Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium.

CBS Sports Network is available across the country through local cable and video providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 613 and Dish Network Channel 152. In the Lehigh Valley, CBS Sports Network can be found on Service Electric Dial Position 176.

The Mountain Hawks will open the 2012 season on Saturday September 1 when they host the Hawks of Monmouth at Goodman Stadium.
