Lehigh ninth-inning rally falls short in series opener versus LIU Brooklyn
The Lehigh baseball team clawed its way back into its game against LIU Brooklyn on Friday on Goodman Campus before eventually falling 5-3. All three runs for the Mountain Hawks (10-8) came in the ninth inning, as consecutive RBI singles from sophomore Connor Faust and freshman Zach Gray put Lehigh within reach of a victory.

Lehigh advances three to day two of NCAA Championships
Lehigh senior Robert Hamlin won a 6-3 decision over Dan Rinaldi of Rutgers to reach the quarterfinals for the third straight year as the Mountain Hawks wrapped-up day one of the NCAA Championships Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena. Freshman Randy Cruz and sophomore Nathaniel Brown joined Hamlin in advancing to Friday’s second day of action.

Fast start not enough in 6-4 loss to UMass
The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team took a 2-0 lead less than three minutes into the game, but could only manage two more the rest of the way as UMass topped the #15/16 Mountain Hawks 6-4 on Wednesday evening at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Nationally televised on ESPNU as the Warrior Game of the Week, the Mountain Hawks were anchored by sophomore goalie Matt Poillon, who made 13 saves.

The Mountain Hawks lost the doubles point but reeled off wins at the last five singles flights to rally for the win as Lehigh improves to 11-3 on the season.​

In its final tune-up before Patriot League play begins this weekend, the Lehigh women’s tennis team fell to Saint Joseph’s 7-0 Tuesday inside the Lewis Tennis Center. Junior Taylor Hampshire and freshman Ali Kaminetsky won at No. 2 doubles but the visiting Hawks won the other two doubles matches and swept six singles matches.

With the tough loss, the Mountain Hawk fall to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in Patriot League play while the Raiders improve to 4-4 and 2-0 in the league.
