Mountain Hawks pull out 60-47 win over American
The Lehigh men’s basketball team opened a 16 point second-half lead, American came back to tie it, but the Mountain Hawks ended the game on a 17-4 run to pull out a 60-47 win over American Wednesday night in Stabler Arena. Senior Gabe Knutson led the way with 18 points while junior Anthony D’Orazio tied a season-high 15 points and junior Mackey McKnight dished a career-high nine assists. Mountain Hawks split against Harvard and Brown on Senior Day
Three Lehigh wrestlers scored first period pins as the Mountain Hawks closed out their home schedule with a 27-16 win over Brown Sunday inside Leeman-Turner Arena at Grace Hall. Lehigh had to settle for a split on the afternoon however, as Harvard captured the final two bouts to stun the Mountain Hawks 25-16 in Sunday’s opening dual on Senior Day at Grace Hall.

#10/11 Lehigh opens season with 14-1 win over Saint Joseph’s
The Lehigh men’s lacrosse team opened a highly-anticipated 2013 season in a big way, downing visiting Saint Joseph’s 14-1 on a sunny Sunday afternoon at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Senior David DiMaria led the way with a career-high six goals while classmate Dante Fantoni tied a career high with three assists and five points. The margin of victory marked Lehigh’s largest since last year’s 13-0 shutout of Manhattan.

Lehigh pulls out big 68-61 win at Holy Cross
Junior Mackey McKnight eclipsed 20 points for a second straight game to lead the Lehigh men’s basketball team to an impressive 68-61 win at Holy Cross on Saturday evening. The win marked the Mountain Hawks’ fifth straight on the road and ninth in their last 10 games as they won at Holy Cross for only the second time in their last 19 tries.

Mountain Hawks optimistic halfway through preseason workouts
The Lehigh softball program has been hard at work in preparation for the 2013 season. The two-time defending Patriot League champions recently passed the halfway point of their preseason workouts. While many teams around the country will open up this weekend, Lehigh has two more weeks to continue to improve and head coach Fran Troyan likes what he sees so far.

Coen Welcomes 20 in Lehigh Football Class of 2017
Lehigh head coach Andy Coen has announced the addition of 20 student-athletes who will join the Mountain Hawks’ football program as the Class of 2017. Members of the incoming class hail from ten different states and encompass almost every position group. This is also the first class in which scholar-athlete aid was made available following a decision by the Patriot League’s Council of Presidents.

Lehigh closes out weekend with 7-0 shutout of Saint Francis
The Lehigh men’s tennis team put forth an impressive overall performance Sunday as the Mountain Hawks rebounded from a tough loss Saturday at Penn State to blank Saint Francis (Pa.) 7-0 at the Lewis Tennis Center. The Mountain Hawks swept through all three doubles matches and won the first five singles matches before earning a win by default at No. 6 singles.

The Lehigh women’s tennis team posted its first victory of the season on Sunday, as the Mountain Hawks downed Saint Francis (Pa.) 5-2 at the Lewis Tennis Center. The Mountain Hawks captured the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 flights, then captured four of six singles matches to earn their first victory as Lehigh improves to 1-2 on the season.

Mountain Hawks hold off Army, 85-76
Five players finished with double figures as the Mountain Hawks took a 22-point first-half lead and held off a second-half Army charge, 85-76 on Sunday afternoon. Junior Mackey McKnight led the way with 21 points while senior Gabe Knutson posted 18 and junior Anthony D’Orazio had 15. Lehigh has now won eight of its last nine road games, improving to 16-5 overall and 6-1 in Patriot League play.

Clutch Black Knights edge Lehigh, 61-56
Despite a career-high 18 points from junior Lindsay Hoskins, the Lehigh women’s basketball team fell to Army on Wednesday night, 61-56. Hoskins shot 6-of-8 from the floor and 6-of-9 from the charity stripe, but the Black Knights edge the Mountain Hawks on 43 percent shooting and 21 points from senior Anna Simmers.
