Sesame Street Live “Elmo’s Super Heroes” is coming to Stabler Arena from March 29 – 31, 2013. When Super Grover loses his superness, Sesame Street needs a hero! Never fear, Elmo and his team of super heroes are here. Teaching lessons of healthy habits through song and dance, Elmo, Abby Cadabby and your favorite Sesame Street friends will explore exercise, nutrition, sleep/energy and hygiene – all in a quest to put the “super” back in Super Grover.

Steelhawks Make Move to PIFL
The Steelhawks will be leaving the Indoor Football League for the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) effective immediately, and will be part of the PIFL’s 2013 season. The PIFL, which completed their first season this past June, provided the Steelhawks with more regional rivalries, and new teams to compete against which fans of the Lehigh Valley have yet to see.

FC Sonic Beats Brooklyn Italians in Northeast Semi-Final
FC Sonic took down the Brooklyn Italians in the NPSL Northeast Conference Semi-final on Saturday, July 14. The Sonic will host the NY Red Bulls on Saturday July 21st at 7pm in tne NPSL Northeast Conference Final on Goodman Campus. The winner will represent the NE region in the NPSL Championship on July 27-29 in San Diego, CA.

Steelhawks Unable to Quiet the Storm
In their first playoff game in franchise history, the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks (6-9) were up against a dominant opponent in the Sioux Falls Storm (15-0). While the outcome of the game is not how the Steelhawks would have liked it, the entire organization is proud of the extraordinary season that they put together in only their second year of existence. Having made the playoffs is a great step forward that the Steelhawks are looking to continue into next year.

Adam Frey Classic in the Valley
The fourth annual Adam Frey Classic, an annual event that was created in memory of former Cornell and Blair Academy great Adam Frey, will take place on Sunday, June 24 at historical Grace Hall on the campus of Lehigh University. Fifteen All-Americans will square off in this year’s event with the marquee matchup coming at 184 pounds where Lehigh University All-American and NCAA finalist Robert Hamlin will face NCAA champion Ed Ruth of Penn State. Steelhawks Close Out Regular Season with Thriller
The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks (6-8) closed out the regular season in what may have been one of the most exciting finishes in IFL history. The Steelhawks were able to defeat the Chicago Slaughter (6-8) 54-53 on a last second two point conversion in double overtime to seal the victory. The win gives the Steelhawks a 2-1 advantage on the season series with the Slaughter and closes out the teams 2012 regular season.

Steelhawks Kick Off New Year with Big Signings
The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks have kicked off the New Year by signing some big Division I names to the 2012 roster. The newest additions to the team are DB Marvin Johnson from the University of Oregon, who played in the 2010 Rose Bowl and last year’s BCS National Championship game; and K Chris Hazley from Virginia Tech who was First Team All-ACC and named a Rivals.com 2nd team All-American for the 2010 season.
