Mountain Hawks finish 15th at Mid-Atlantic Regionals

The Lehigh women’s cross country team finished 15th out of 31 competing squads at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals in University Park, Pa. The Mountain Hawks recorded a combined score of 457 points, finishing just six points behind Loyola (Md.). Senior Julia Perry was Lehigh’s top performing runner, taking 62nd after crossing the line in 22:14 on the 6K course.

Mid-Atlantic Qualifiers are next for Mountain Hawks

After a fourth-place finish at the Patriot League Championships, the Lehigh women’s cross country team will compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Qualifiers on the campus of Penn State University on Friday, November 9. The Mountain Hawks will be looking to ride the momentum from their best finish at the Patriot League Championships since notching third place in 2008 race.

Mountain Hawks finish fourth at Patriot League Championships

Behind a fourth-place finish by senior Julia Perry, the Lehigh women’s cross country team took fourth place in the 2012 Patriot League Championships in Hamilton N.Y. Perry was the top Lehigh performer, finishing in 22:41.4 on Harry H. Lang course, followed by sophomore Ingrid Simon who crossed the line in 23:22.0 for 11th place.
