Lemon wins second straight weekly League award

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the second week in a row and the sixth time in her career, junior E’Lana Lemon was named the Patriot League Female Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the League Monday. The West Orange, N.J. native finished first at the Fast Times Before Finals in the weight throw with an ECAC-qualifying distance with a distance of 17.65m.
Lemon well surpassed the qualifying distance of 16.00m needed and improved on her winning and ECAC-qualifying distance of 17.57m in the Season Opener on December 2nd.
Lemon and the rest of the Mountain Hawks will return to action on January 14th when the Mountain Hawks will compete at West Point. Lehigh will host three more events this year: the Mountain Hawks Multi Invite on January 20th, the Lafayette dual on January 28th and the John Convert Classic on February 4th.
