WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Lehigh women’s tennis team opened its season at the three-day West Point Invitational, hosted by Army on the Malek Tennis Courts. The Mountain Hawks’ contingent featured six players who gained valuable experience despite the lack of positive results.
Lehigh was represented by junior Jenai Billimoria and sophomore Abby Farrell in the top singles flight. Freshman Ali Kaminetsky and sophomore Emily Bruch represented the Mountain Hawks at second singles. Sophomore Molly Brooks played at third singles, while junior Jill Sloand participated in fourth singles.
In doubles action, Bilimoria and Farrell teamed up in the “A” flight as did Kaminetsky and Sloand. Brooks and Bruch participated in “B” doubles.

The Mountain Hawks will continue their fall season when they host the Lehigh Invitational October 12-14 on the Ulrich Varsity Courts.
