WHY LEHIGH? “I chose Lehigh because I went to the soccer camp over the summer and fell in love with it. Its academics are a perfect match for me and I get to play soccer at the Division I level.”

ON COACH LAMBINUS: “He’s so nice and very focused on the team. When I first met him, he said his goal was to win the Patriot League and move onto the NCAA Tournament, and he did just that a few months later. He’s also very honest and very easy to communicate with.”


AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Played in eight games, starting three ... Earned first-career start vs. Seton Hall (8/24) while also starting at Providence (8/31) and at Princeton (10/10).

AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Strong freshman campaign, playing in 16 games while posting three points via a goal and assist … Finished with seven shots, four on goal, and a game-winning goal (vs. Columbia) … Had a career-high two shots against American (10/7) … First-career goal was an overtime game-winner against Columbia (10/3), giving the Mountain Hawks their first win over the Lions since 1993 … Tallied first-career point (an assist) at NJIT (9/18) … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE LEHIGH: Four-year member of the soccer team at the Hackley School … Named Rookie of the Year in 2007, Playmaker of the Year in 2008, Team MVP in 2009 and Animal Award winner in 2010 … Won two straight Ivy League Championships in (2007-08) as well as a State Championship in 2008 …. Topped the Ivy League in points scored (goals and assists) … Garnered All-Ivy League honors in each of her four seasons, earning first team nods her last three … Member of Albertson Fury Premier ’92 ... Before Albertson, Mayeux played for FC Sting Killer Bees which has since become Syosset Sting 92 … With those teams, has won six consecutive New York State Cup championships (2005-10) and two straight Region I championships (2009-10) … An honors student in the classroom.
