In 2012-13: Emerged as starter at 125… posted career highs with ten wins and five dual meet wins… went 1-2 at the Midlands Championships… placed third at Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic in January… had key sudden victory win over Oklahoma’s Kyle Garcia in January dual.
 
In 2011-12: Began season at 133 before dropping down to 125 in January… emerged as starter at 125, competing at EIWA Championships, where he placed eighth… pinned Vinnie Dellafave of Rutgers from neutral at EIWA Championships.
 
In 2010-11: Finished season with 7-8 record… won by technical fall over Fermin Mendez of Harvard, moving up to 133 to make varsity dual debut… competed at Buffalo, East Stroudsburg, Penn State and National Collegiate Opens.
 
In 2009-10: Deferred Eligibility… posted 2-6 record in open competition… competed at Buffalo and East Stroudsburg Opens and Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Classic… earned first career win, by fall at ESU Open… Dean’s List student
 
In secondary school: Placed fourth in the state at 103 as a senior… two-time state qualifier… three-year varsity captain… graduated in top 3% of his class.
 
Personal: Son of Steve Abreu and Lynne Abreu-Martin… sister Rachel (17)… enjoys skiing… … owns a 3.64 grade point average.
