Lehigh to host Education Day game against Columbia Monday
After a thrilling 46-45 victory over NJIT on Saturday afternoon, the Lehigh women’s basketball team will take on Columbia in front of more than 3,300 students and teachers on Education Day inside Stabler Arena on Monday, January 7 at 11:30 a.m. The Lions will be Lehigh’s final non-league tune-up before the Mountain Hawks begin Patriot League play on Saturday, January 12 with a trip to Worcester, Mass. against Holy Cross.

O’Reilly’s free throw gives Lehigh 46-45 victory over NJIT
With the game knotted at 45 and four seconds on the clock, sophomore Katie O’Reilly knocked down a crucial free throw to give the Lehigh women’s basketball team a 46-45 victory over NJIT on Saturday afternoon. The Mountain Hawks and Highlanders exchanged leads five times on the day, but in the end, Lehigh’s free throw shooting proved to be the difference for its seventh victory.

Lehigh travels to NJIT for last non-league road game
After an impressive 66-57 victory over Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday, the Lehigh women’s basketball team will take to the hardwood for its final non-league road game on Saturday when it travels to Newark, N.J. to take on NJIT at 2 p.m. The Mountain Hawks will be looking for their seventh straight victory over the Highlanders and a chance to tune-up before Patriot League play begins on January 12 with a trip to Holy Cross.

Lehigh downs Mount St. Mary’s, 66-57, behind Weaver’s 19 points
Four Mountain Hawks broke double digits in points, while junior Hilary Weaver paced the attack with 19 of her own in the 66-57 victory over Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday night. Lehigh answered every Mount run and used clutch free throw shooting to hold off several Mount St. Mary’s comebacks for its sixth win of the season.

Lehigh takes to the road for game at Mount St. Mary’s
Reeling from a 72-44 loss to Boston University in the Christmas City Classic finale, the Lehigh women’s basketball team will begin a two-game road trip with a journey to Emmitsburg, Md. to take on Mount St. Mary’s on Wednesday, January 2. The Mount will be the Mountain Hawks’ fourth battle with a Northeast Conference opponent. Lehigh will be searching for its sixth non-league win as Patriot League play looms in just 11 days.
