Mountain Hawks fall to Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – In their second match of the Pitt Invitational, the Mountain Hawks lost to host Pittsburgh 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Fitzgerald Field House. Game scores were 30-13, 30-26 and 30-18. With the loss, Lehigh drops to 0-9 on the season while Pittsburgh improves to 9-1.
Senior Michelle Schwendenmann led the team with 14 kills. Freshman Sarah Wolfe recorded a team-high 10 digs.
Pittsburgh’s Stephanie Ross recorded the only double-double of the match, racking up 12 kills and 11 digs.
Lehigh will play its final game of the Pitt Invitational at 5:00 pm Saturday against No. 12 Tennessee.
