Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because it was the place that I could get the best education and still play softball at a highly competitive level. Of all the schools I was looking at, Lehigh had the strongest softball program and the best academics.”
On Coach Troyan: “That he is very supportive of his players and will do everything he can to make sure they succeed on and off the field.”
On the Lehigh softball experience: “The Lehigh softball team is a close knit family and I am so grateful that I have been welcomed with open arms. To me this experience means making friendships that will last a lifetime while doing something that I love and making myself a better player and person.”
In high school: 2012 first team All-State selection… 2011 second team All-State performer… first team All-Southeastern PA in 2011 and 2012… named 2012 Player of the Year by The Intelligencer… batted .473 as a senior with 35 runs scored, 11 doubles, five home runs and 36 RBIs… graduated Summa Cum Laude in the top 10 percent of her class… member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Anita Decker... siblings Madison (16) and Jeff (10)… enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.

What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh?: The atmosphere. People are always striving to succeed, but I think that students here also make sure they fully experience college and take advantage of the time they have here.
Major & Why: Intended Biology major because I would like to possibly go into the medical field
