As a junior: First team All-Patriot League outfielder… member of Academic All-Patriot League team… Lehigh’s centerfielder and leadoff hitter… had two hits and two runs scored vs. Army (5/11)... ranks third on team in batting… led Patriot League with 22 stolen bases… hit .456 in league games… went 8-for-16 with six runs scored in four games vs. Lafayette… went 6-for-6 with six runs scored in doubleheader sweep of Bucknell (4/8)… member of Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore: Batted .349 in Patriot League games with 14 runs scored... batted .393 with runners on base... hit in eight straight games from April 16-25... named to Patriot League All-Academic Team... hit inside-the-park home run versus Niagara (3/27)... named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
As a freshman: Second team All-Patriot League selection… began season in right field before moving to center… led team with four triples… batted .377 in Patriot League games… had two three-hit games…named to Patriot League All-Tournament Team… member of Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
In high school: Second team All-State selection as a senior… also competed in cross country and track and field… five time All-Greater Rochester selection (two softball, two indoor track, one cross country)… owns three state section V records in indoor track… was named high school’s Athlete of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Donna Roessel… brothers Bryan (27) and Rob (24)… enjoys running and scrapbooking.
