Why Lehigh? “I wanted to go to a small school on the East coast and Lehigh’s academic and athletic programs were very appealing to me.”
On the coaching staff: “the entire coaching staff is extremely knowledgeable about the sport of rowing and all have tons of experience. They provide great feedback and are coaches that you want to work hard for.”
In high school… two-year Varsity and two-year JV member of the Mountain View Boy’s Soccer team… placed first in the league all four years… advanced to semi-finals of CCS State-Wide Championship junior year… received All-League award sophomore year
Personal… son of Alex and Tom Gills… has two siblings, Anna and Siobhan… enjoys skiing, water skiing, and tubing… lists parents as most admired person and Jonny Moseley as favorite athlete
