Mountain Hawks wrap up season at Patriot League Championships
The Lehigh women’s rowing team wrapped up its season at the Patriot League Championships Friday morning, finishing in sixth place with eight points on the day. The Mountain Hawks came in fifth in the Second Varsity Eight and placed sixth in the Varsity Four and Varsity Eight.

Lehigh heads to Patriot League Championships on Friday
The Lehigh women’s rowing team will wrap up its season on Friday when it heads to Worcester, Mass. for the Patriot League Championships on Lake Quinsigamond. The Mountain Hawks look to carry the moment from a successful Dad Vail Regatta and continue their improvement while competing for a Patriot League Title.

Women’s Freshmen Eight takes bronze to highlight Dad Vail Regatta
The Lehigh rowing team wrapped up a highly successful Dad Vail Regatta on Saturday with two freshmen crews making the finals including a third-place, bronze medal finish by the Women’s Freshmen Eight. In total, six of the Mountain Hawks’ crews competed in the semifinals on Saturday. Lehigh was the only school to have the Women’s Freshmen Four and Freshmen Eight in the grand finals.

Six crews advance to Saturday at Dad Vail Regatta
Six of the eight crews from Lehigh rowing advanced to Saturday’s Semifinals in a highly successful day one at the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta Friday. The six semifinalists are more than last season as the Mountain Hawks continue to show tremendous improvement. Saturday’s Finals will be broadcast live on 6ABC in Philadelphia and online on ESPN3.com.

Lehigh rowing returns to action this weekend at Dad Vail Regatta
Following a week off, the Lehigh rowing team returns to action at one of the nation’s most prestigious regattas as the Mountain Hawks head to Philadelphia to compete in the Dad Vail Regatta. The two-day event runs Friday and Saturday. Lehigh is coming off an impressive showing against Lafayette to capture the River Cup once again.

Lehigh Rowing wins River Cup over Lafayette
The Lehigh rowing team won all but two races to dominate Lafayette and capture the River Cup on Saturday. Both Varsity Eight crews won to keep the men’s, women’s and overall River Cups in Bethlehem for at least another year. The day also marked a celebration of the program’s 25th anniversary season as several alums returned for the racing, and dinner at night.

Mountain Hawks host Lafayette in River Cup Saturday
The Lehigh rowing team looks to continue its strong spring campaign when it hosts archrival Lafayette on Saturday in its only home race of the season. It’s a special day for the Mountain Hawks as several alums are expected in attendance, for the race and dinner that evening, as part of Lehigh rowing’s 25th anniversary celebration. Lehigh looks to take home the River Cup after winning 13-of-15 races a season ago.

Lehigh rowing completes successful weekend at Knecht Cup
Four Lehigh crews advanced to the finals, including a silver medal for the Men’s Club Four as the Mountain Hawks wrapped up a successful weekend at the Knecht Cup. In addition, the Men’s Freshmen Eight and Varsity Four advanced to the grand final while the Women’s Freshmen Eight qualified for the petite final.

The Lehigh rowing team looks to continue the momentum from a strong spring so far when it rows in the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River. The Mountain Hawks are coming off their third straight Neuweiler Plate victory last weekend. Lehigh’s Women’s Freshmen Eight and Men’s Varsity Eight highlighted last year’s Knecht Cup, finishing second and third, respectively, in the Petite Finals of a deep regatta.

Mountain Hawks continue success at Neuweiler Plate
The Lehigh rowing team continued its success at the Neuweiler Plate by winning all but two races to capture its third straight Neuweiler Plate crown on Saturday. An overall team effort saw the Mountain Hawks win nine races, including the Women’s Freshmen Four by a significant margin over the second place finisher.

Rowing to celebrate its 25th anniversary this season
The Lehigh rowing team is celebrating its 25th anniversary this season, with the marquee celebration set for Apr. 20 in conjunction with the River Cup Regatta against Lafayette in Allentown. The Mountain Hawks will be remembering the last 25 years from their humble club beginnings all the way through to its current standing amongst Division I varsity rowing programs.

The Lehigh rowing team opened its spring season on Saturday as the women’s squad beat Temple while the men fell to Delaware. The women’s team won all of its races, including a big win for the Varsity Eight (with a time of 7:12.90). The Mountain Hawks look to build momentum from a strong effort when they return to action at the Murphy Cup next weekend.

Lehigh rowing opens spring season on Saturday
Following hard work during winter training, the Lehigh rowing team will begin its spring campaign Saturday morning as the women face Temple and the men take on Delaware on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. The Mountain Hawks enjoyed a strong fall capped off by nine top-three finishes at the Frostbite Regatta.
