BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men’s cross country had an impressive fall academic campaign, placing 18 student-athletes on the Patriot League’s Academic Honor Roll, which was announced Wednesday afternoon. The 18 honorees marked the second most out of the eight Patriot League schools.

Freshman Ryan Knouse led the team with a perfect 4.0 GPA. The Business major was in good company, with two of his teammates achieving above a 3.8 for the semester. In order to be eligible for the honor roll, student-athletes must achieve a 3.2 while in season.
Freshmen Sean Price and Carl Pierce were close behind Knouse with GPAs of 3.86 and 3.84. Seniors Stephen Abate, Bryan Herbst and Michael Lowrie each maintained a 3.75 for the semester while NCAA qualifier Evans Kosgei posted a 3.70 in Computer Science and Engineering. Fourteen of Lehigh’s 18 honorees earned over a 3.6 this fall.
