BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men’s track and field team landed 19 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, announced on Tuesday, capping off an impressive season on and off the track. The Mountain Hawks finished fourth in the Patriot League Championships, had a NCAA First Round qualifier and an Academic All-Patriot League member.

Lehigh’s academic success was led by junior Ryan Knouse who had a 3.92 GPA in Business. He was followed by senior Evan Flach’s 3.85 GPA in Bioengineering and sophomore Benjamin Beauchamp’s 3.82 in Engineering.

Nine Mountain Hawks had at least a 3.60 GPA or higher which also qualified them for Lehigh’s Dean List.

Senior Evans Kosgei also made the Honor Roll with a 3.46 GPA in Computer Science (EN) while the Moiben, Kenya native placed 14th in the NCAA First Round at the end of May and broke his own school record in the process.
Senior Kyle Forrest made the list with a 3.48 GPA in Accounting and in early May was named to 10-team Academic All-Patriot League team.

To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League’s winter or spring championship sports.
