Forrest named to Academic All-League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Track and field senior Kyle Forrest was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, as announced Tuesday. An accounting major, the North Walpole, N.H. native carries a 3.60 GPA. Forrest has also enjoyed success on the track, earning Second Team All-Patriot League honors after placing second at the Patriot League Championships.

Forrest is a two-time member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll and has also been a member of the Dean’s List.

A team captain, Forrest finished second in the heptathlon with a personal record of 4,932 points which qualified him for the IC4As.

Forrest also had a strong showing earlier in the season at the Mountain Hawk Invite where he won the heptathlon while breaking a previous personal record with 4,855 points.

Forrest and a large group of other Mountain Hawks will compete this weekend in the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass. The event will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. and will continue on Sunday at 1 pm.
