Forrest named to Academic All-League Team
Track and field senior Kyle Forrest was named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team, as announced Tuesday. An accounting major, the North Walpole, N.H. native carries a 3.60 GPA. Forrest has also enjoyed success on the track, earning Second Team All-Patriot League honors after placing second at the Patriot League Championships in the heptathlon with a personal record of 4,932 points.

Lehigh places fourth at Patriot League Championships
For the second straight year, the Lehigh men’s track and field team placed fourth at the Patriot League Championships. Lehigh had some stellar individual performances highlighted by Stephen Tutunjian who was named the male field athlete of the meet after he won the triple jump and long jump. Tutunjian was named to First Team All-Patriot League team while Kyle Forrest earned second team honors.

Lehigh tied for third after day two at Championships
The Lehigh men’s track and field team put together some great individual efforts to finish day two of the Patriot League Championships in a tie with Army for third place with 29 points. The Mountain Hawks’ lone victory came in the long jump as Stephen Tutunjian won the event with a distance 7.10m to give the Mountain Hawks 10 points. The final day begins Sunday at 10 a.m.

Lehigh heads to Bucknell for Patriot League Championships
The Lehigh track and field teams will head to Bucknell this weekend to compete in the Patriot League Championships, which will begin Friday and come to conclusion Sunday. This season has been filled with some stellar individual performances on the men’s and women’s side, and now the teams will look to put it all together in the meet they have been training for all season.

Lehigh excels in tune up prior to Championships
In its final meet before the Patriot League Championships, the Lehigh men’s track and field team had some positive results at the Lafayette/Rider Invitational at the NYC Armory. The Mountain Hawks had an impressive 17 top 10 finishes highlighted by a fifth-place finish in the 500m dash by sophomore John Ciavardelli and a fifth place in the high jump by freshman Adeolu Adesida.

Lehigh set for final meet before PL Championships
In the final meet before the Patriot League Championships next weekend, the Lehigh men’s track and field team will take part in the Lafayette/Rider Invitational at 5 p.m. Friday at the NYC Armory. The Mountain Hawks have put together some stellar performances this season and will look to continue that trend on Friday prior to the Championships next weekend in Lewisburg, Pa.

Lehigh has successful weekend at pair of meets
The Lehigh men’s track and field team competed in a pair of meets over the weekend. One group went to the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the NYC Armory while the other stayed home as Lehigh hosted the 20th John Covert Classic. In both non-scoring meets, Lehigh had some great individual performances highlighted by freshman Adelou Adesida's first place in the high jump at the Classic.

Lehigh splits squad for pair of weekend meets
The Lehigh men’s track and field team will split its squad up to participate in a pair of meets this weekend. Some Mountain Hawks will compete at the prestigious New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the NYC Armory on Friday at 11 a.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. while the rest of the team while compete in the John Covert Classic which Lehigh will host at the Rauch Fieldhouse on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Lehigh defeats rival Lafayette 97-84 Saturday
In its lone dual meet of the season, the Lehigh men’s track and field team defeated rival Lafayette 97-84 Saturday at Rauch Fieldhouse. While the Mountain Hawks only had seven first-place finishes in the 16 events, Lehigh used its depth its advantage. Lehigh won three track events and four field events, highlighted by junior Christopher Buck’s first place finishes in the shot put and weight throw.

Lehigh hosts Lafayette dual meet Saturday
The Lehigh men’s track and field team will host rival Lafayette Saturday in a dual meet that is set to begin at 2 p.m. at Rauch Fieldhouse. The Mountain Hawks will look to keep their momentum going as they are coming off a first-place finish at the Mountain Hawk Invite. At last year’s dual with the Leopards, Lehigh won 107-74 and the Mountain Hawks will look for the same result Saturday.

Lehigh takes first place at Mountain Hawk Invite
The Lehigh men’s track and field team took home first place at the 13-team Mountain Hawk Invite. The two-day event finished on Saturday as the Mountain Hawks found themselves on top with a total of 202 points. Lehigh had a lot of standout performances including four new IC4A qualifiers while senior Stephen Tutunjian broke a 30-year school record in the triple jump.

Lehigh hosts two-day Mountain Hawk Invite
The Lehigh men’s track and field team will host the Mountain Hawk Invite at Rauch Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday. The meet will begin Friday at 5 p.m. and pick up again on Saturday at 9 a.m. The Invite will be an unscored meet that will feature 12 other schools and a total of 850 athletes. The Mountain Hawks are coming off a third-place finish at the six-team Army Meet at West Point.

Mountain Hawks place third in Army six-team meet
The Lehigh men’s track and field team enjoyed a solid performance at the Army six-team meet on Sunday as the squad finished third with 93.2 points. Sophomore James Miller and senior Stephen Tutunjian won their respective events, the 5,000 meter run and triple jump, to lead the way.

Men’s Track and Field competes at West Point Saturday
The Lehigh men’s track and field team will compete in a six-team scoring meet Saturday with events slated to begin at 11 a.m. The Mountain Hawks will compete against host Army, Monmouth, Rider, Columbia and Williams. It will be Lehigh’s third meet of the season but will be the Mountain Hawks’ first scoring event as Lehigh returns to action for the first time in over a month.
