Why Lehigh? “I was looking for a University with a great business program and the opportunity to play Division I tennis. Lehigh has both. When I came for a visit, the campus was so beautiful and I realized that’s where I wanted to be.”
As a sophomore… appeared primarily as doubles specialist… posted 11-10 doubles record playing at No. 3 flight alongside Andrew Krentz… went 1-4 against league foes… posted 3-2 singles record at the No. 5 and No. 6 flights… named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll… as a freshman… went 4-1 in singles action playing at the bottom of Lehigh’s lineup.
Personal: Son of Valeriy and Iraida… hails from Siberia, but spent time living in Spain and Germany pursuing tennis… lists Marat Safin and Roger Federer as favorite pros.
