Former Lehigh standouts Ryan Snyder and Mike Noone were recently picked up by Major League Lacrosse teams, Snyder joining the first-place Denver Outlaws and Noone heading to the Ohio Machine. Snyder has been added to the active roster and will back up Anthony Kelly at the faceoff X while Noone is on Ohio’s practice squad, but could join the active roster at a moment’s notice.
Lehigh men’s lacrosse alum Robby Walsh was featured on the ESPN show 30 for 30 on Apr. 23 for his tremendous work with the Bike to the Beach charity. The piece was done in partnership with the NCAA and Buick. Fans can view the entire three-minute segment on NCAA.com.
Lehigh men's lacrosse graduating seniors David DiMaria, Dante Fantoni, Ryan Snyder and Mike Noone all played key roles in leading the South to a 16-10 win in last Friday's 72nd annual USILA/LaxWorld Division I-II Senior North-South Game. The four representatives marked the most from any school in the nation. DiMaria posted a game-high four points, Fantoni scored a goal, Snyder won 14 faceoffs and Noone had at least one groundball and caused turnover to lead the defense.
Seniors David DiMaria and Mike Noone, junior Ty Souders and sophomore Matt Poillon were all named USILA honorable mention All-Americans on Thursday as the postseason recognition for the Lehigh men’s lacrosse team continues. The four All-America honorees breaks the previous school record of three from last season. Souders and Poillon earn All-America recognition for a second straight season.
