Gutshall honored with GAP Distinguished Achievement Award
Former Lehigh men’s and women’s golf coach Kelly Gutshall ’50 has been honored with the Golf Association of Philadelphia (GAP) Distinguished Service Award. The award highlights individuals who have made a significant contribution to the game at the Philadelphia, national or international level.

Fourth place finish for Mountain Hawks at Lehigh Invitational
The Lehigh men’s golf team concluded its fall season with a fourth place finish at the Lehigh Invitational, which concluded Sunday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Mountain Hawks shot a 301 on Sunday to finish fourth out of eight teams at 603 (302-301).

Mountain Hawks fourth after first day of Lehigh Invitational
All five scoring players shot 78 or lower as the Lehigh men’s golf team shot a first-round 302 Saturday in the opening round of the Lehigh Invitational on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. Junior Alex DiClemente shot 74 to lead the Mountain Hawks, who sit in fourth place in the eight team field after 18 holes of action.

Lehigh Invitational returns to Saucon Valley CC this weekend
The Lehigh men’s and women’s golf teams will wrap-up their fall schedules this weekend as they co-host the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Mountain Hawks will be joined by seven men’s teams and seven women’s teams for the two-day, 36-hole event, which will take place on Saucon Valley’s Grace Course.

Mountain Hawks to host Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley CC
The Lehigh men’s golf team will wrap up its fall season this weekend as the Mountain Hawks host the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Valley Country Club. Eight teams will compete on Saucon Valley’s Grace Course with Bucknell, Colgate, Fordham, Lafayette, Rutgers, Siena and Villanova joining the Brown and White for the two-day, 36-hole event, which begins Saturday.

Lafayette rallies past Lehigh to claim President's Cup
The Lehigh men’s golf team grabbed the lead after the morning session, but Lafayette won four of seven singles matches in the afternoon to claim the President’s Cup from the Mountain Hawks 7-6 Tuesday at Hamilton Farm Golf Club. The Mountain Hawks needed 6.5 points to retain the cup, but Lafayette received singles wins from Ben Deforest and Chad Bell to win the cup from Lehigh.

Lehigh to battle Lafayette for President's Cup Tuesday in N.J.
The Lehigh golf team will travel to Gladstone, N.J. Tuesday to take on Lafayette in a match play competition dubbed the President’s Cup. The matches will take place at Hamilton Farm Golf Club. This event is taking place for the second consecutive year and will count towards the Lehigh-Lafayette rivalry for the first time.

Mountain Hawks improve on final day of Hartford Hawk Invitational
The Lehigh men’s golf team wrapped-up action at the Hartford Hawk Invitational Tuesday at the Bull’s Bridge Golf Club. The Mountain Hawks finished strong as all five players broke 80 on the day, en route to a team score of 302 as Lehigh finished 13th in the 16 team field with a score of 929 (320-307-302).

Lehigh men's golf opens play at Hartford Hawk Invitational
After opening the fall season with a second and first place finish in its first two events, things did not go as well for the Lehigh men’s golf team on day one of the Hartford Hawk Invitational at Bull’s Bridge Golf Club. The Mountain Hawks shot 627 (320-307) over the first 36 holes and sit in 14th place in the 16 team field.

Lehigh looks to continue strong fall start at Hartford Hawk Invitational
The Lehigh men’s golf team is set to travel to South Kent, Conn. to take part in the Hartford Hawk Invitational Monday and Tuesday at Bull’s Bridge Golf Course. The team is coming off a strong performance at the Bucknell Invitational. The Mountain Hawks won the eight-team tournament one week after finishing second in the nine-team Colgate Invitational.

Mountain Hawks win Bucknell Fall Invitational title
Four players posted top ten individual finishes to lead Lehigh to its first tournament win since 2009 as the Mountain Hawks captured the eight-team Bucknell Invitational, which wrapped up Saturday on the Bucknell Golf Course. The Mountain Hawks shot a final round 296 to post an 11-shot victory over one of two teams from the hosts Bucknell.

Lehigh men's golf holds 36 hole lead at Bucknell Invitational
Powered by a second-round 70 from junior Andrew Arnold, the Lehigh men’s golf team sits in first place after 36 holes at the Bucknell Invitational, which opened up Friday at the Bucknell Golf Course. Arnold opened with a 74 and sits in a tie for third place at 144, four shots behind the leader. As a team the Mountain Hawks shot 591 (294-297) and hold a four shot lead over the host Bison heading into Saturday’s final round.

Mountain Hawks look to build on strong start at Bucknell Invitational
The Lehigh men’s golf team is set to travel to Lewisburg, Pa. this weekend to compete in the Bucknell Invitational. The two-day event will begin Friday with 36 holes at the Bucknell Golf Course and will conclude with the final 18 holes on Saturday. Lehigh will be joined in the field by Colgate, Canisius, Hampton, Laval and Messiah, plus two five-man teams from the host Bison.

Abrams, Mountain Hawks finish second at Colgate Invitational
Behind a second place finish by freshman Harley Abrams, the Lehigh men’s golf team finished second at the Colgate Invitational, which wrapped-up Sunday at the Seven Oaks Golf Club. The Mountain Hawks opened with a 305 on Saturday and followed up with a 303 on Sunday to finish at 32 over par 608, ten strokes behind team champions Youngstown State.

Men's golf tees off on fall season Saturday at Colgate
The Lehigh men’s golf team opens its fall season this weekend at the Colgate Invitational in Hamilton, N.Y. The two-day tournament begins Saturday and the Mountain Hawks will look to start their season on a high note in their first of five fall tournaments. Seventh-year head coach Henry D’Alberto returns five players from the team that finished third in the Patriot League Championship last spring and will add two freshmen to the roster.

Arnold named to Academic All-Patriot League team
Sophomore Andrew Arnold was Lehigh’s top finisher at last weekend’s Patriot League Championship, tying for sixth place at 11 over par 211. On Thursday, Arnold was one of five players voted to the Academic All-Patriot League team, honoring those who successfully best combined golf with their academics.

Three Mountain Hawk golfers earned second team All-Patriot League honors with individual top ten finishes as Lehigh wrapped-up action at the Patriot League Championships Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Course. Seniors lead Lehigh on day one of Patriot League Championship
Seniors Doug Marcincin and Tim Rosenhouse led the way for the Lehigh men’s golf team as the Mountain Hawks opened up action at the Patriot League Championship Saturday on the Bucknell Golf Course. Both seniors are in the top ten individually as Lehigh shot 591 as a team (295, 296) to sit in fourth place in the seven team field after 36 holes of play.
