Mountain Hawks conclude season at NCAA Tempe Regional
The Lehigh men’s golf team completed its spring season Saturday at the NCAA Tempe Regional on the ASU Karsten Golf Course. Junior Alex DiClemente led the Mountain Hawks on Saturday shooting even par 70, the lowest round of the tournament for Lehigh. The Mountain Hawks finished in 14th place in their first NCAA Regional appearance with a final score of 892 (301-295-296).

Lehigh makes six stroke improvement Friday at NCAA Tempe Regional
The Lehigh men’s golf team showed improvement on day two of the NCAA Tempe Regional. Four of the five Mountain Hawks bettered their first round scores as Lehigh shot 295 Friday at the ASU Karsten Golf Course. The Mountain Hawks were 15 over par on Friday and remain in 14th place at 36 over par 596 (301-295).

Abrams, Kim pace Lehigh on day one of NCAA Tempe Regional
In its first appearance in the NCAA Regional, the Lehigh men’s golf team held things together through the front nine, but the Mountain Hawks ran into collective trouble on the back nine to shoot 301 in round one Thursday at the ASU Karsten Golf Course. Battling 100-degree heat and desert conditions, the Mountain Hawks are 14th out of 14 teams in the field after 18 holes in the Regional.

Mountain Hawks set for first NCAA Regional appearance

Lehigh heading to Tempe, Ariz. for first NCAA Regional appearance
The Lehigh men’s golf team won its first Patriot League Championship since 1997 back on April 28. Monday night, the Mountain Hawks learned that they will head to Tempe, Arizona for their first NCAA Regional appearance as Lehigh was announced as one of 14 teams that will compete on the ASU Karsten Golf Course May 16-18.

Mountain Hawks hold off Navy to claim first PL title since 1997
The Patriot League men’s golf championship came down to the wire and Lehigh matched Navy’s final round score of 303 to hold off the Mids by seven strokes and win the program’s first Patriot League Championship since 1997 Sunday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Mountain Hawks finished at 299-296-303-898 to win the title on their home course.

Lehigh leads Patriot League Championship after opening 36 holes
The Lehigh men’s golf team is looking to win its first Patriot League Championship since 1997 and the Mountain Hawks will take a seven stroke lead into the final round after shooting two sub-300 rounds Saturday on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Mountain Hawks carded rounds of 299 and 296 to sit at 595 after the first 36 holes of play.

Lehigh set to host league championship at Saucon Valley CC
Lehigh will host the 2013 Patriot League Men’s Golf Championship this weekend on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. The Championship will consist of a two-day, 54-hole format with the seven participating schools playing 36 holes on Saturday and the final 18 holes Sunday on the 7,051 yard, par 72 Grace Course.

Mountain Hawks finish 13th at Navy Spring Invitational
In its final tournament before hosting next week’s Patriot League Championship, the Lehigh men’s golf team finished 13th at the Navy Invitational, which concluded Sunday at the Naval Academy Golf Club. The Mountain Hawks followed a team round of 310 on Saturday with a 317 on Sunday to finish at 627 in the two-day, 36-hole event.

Lehigh heads to Navy for final tournament before PL Championship
The Lehigh men’s golf team will play in its final event before hosting next week’s Patriot League Championship as the Mountain Hawks head to Annapolis, Maryland for the two-day Navy Spring Invitational. Five of the seven Patriot League schools that sponsor men’s golf will play a total of 36 holes Saturday and Sunday at the Naval Academy Golf Club.

Mountain Hawks defeat rival Leopards in stroke play Tuesday
In October, the Lehigh men’s golf team fell to rival Lafayette in the President’s Cup in Gladstone, N.J. The Mountain Hawks exacted some revenge on Tuesday defeating the Leopards in stroke play on the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club. Lehigh’s top four bested Lafayette’s by four strokes on the course in which the Mountain Hawks will host the Patriot League Championship in two weeks.

The Lehigh men’s golf team shot a final round score of 294 to capture the team title at the 11th annual Lafayette Invitational, which wrapped-up Monday at Northampton Country Club. After entering the day in second place, the Mountain Hawks finished with a 36-hole team score of 303-294-597 to win by seven strokes over second place Drexel.

Abrams cards low round on final day of Towson Invitational
A strong final day on the links propelled the Lehigh men’s golf team to a tie for ninth place in the 24-team Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational which wrapped-up Tuesday at Prospect Bay Country Club. The Mountain Hawks shot 311 on Tuesday, their best round of the three-day, 54-hole event to finish with a final score of 940 (313-316-311).

The Lehigh men’s golf team continued action at the Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational with a round of 316 in Monday’s second round at Prospect Bay Country Club. The Mountain Hawks fell three shots short of their day one score as they fell to 16th place in the 24 team field with a score of 629 entering the final day of competition.

Kim shoots even par to lead Lehigh on day one of spring opener
Sophomore Carlos Kim shot even par 72 to lead Lehigh on the opening day of the Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational Sunday at Prospect Bay Country Club. The Mountain Hawks battled wet and windy conditions Sunday afternoon in their spring opener and finished with a score of 313 to tie for 12th place in the 24 team field after the opening 18 holes of competition.

Lehigh to open spring campaign Sunday at Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational
The Lehigh men’s golf team returns to the links for the start of its spring season this weekend as the Mountain Hawks will compete at the Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational beginning Sunday at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, Md. The tournament is the first of five spring events for the Mountain Hawks, who will host the Patriot League Championship April 27-28 at Saucon Valley Country Club.
