Regular season finale vs. Army picked up by CBS Sports Network

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men’s basketball’s regular season finale vs. Army on Saturday, Mar. 2 will be picked up by CBS Sports Network, as announced by the Patriot League Thursday. Tipoff is set for 12 p.m. It marks Lehigh’s second flex game of the season, sixth CBS Sports Network game and eighth nationally-televised contest. Lehigh will travel to Lafayette Sunday for its second straight game on the network.
Lehigh and Army feature the Patriot League’s top two scoring offenses. The Mountain Hawks average 73.4 points per game while the Black Knights come in at 72.8 per contest. Lehigh won the first meeting 85-76, taking a 22-point first half lead before holding off a valiant Army comeback.
In the end, six of the Mountain Hawks’ 14 league games will air on CBS Sports Network, most in the Patriot League. Lehigh also appeared on ESPNU (at Pittsburgh) and NBC Sports Network (at VCU).
Eight Patriot League men's basketball games have already been shown on CBS Sports Network this season, including three on consecutive days from Saturday-Monday. Patriot League action resumes on CBS Sports Network on Sunday when Lehigh visits Lafayette at Noon EST. After the Army/Lehigh regular-season finale, coverage on CBS Sports Network continues in the Patriot League Tournament with both semifinals on March 9 (2 and 4:30 p.m. EST) and the Patriot League Championship on March 13 at 7:30 p.m. EST.
