BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men’s basketball games at VCU and Baylor will air on NBC Sports Network and Fox Sports Southwest, respectively, giving the Mountain Hawks at least five nationally-televised games and several more on regional networks. Lehigh will face the Rams on Jan. 5 on NBC Sports Network (formally Versus) while the team’s opener at Baylor will air regionally in five states in the Southwest.
The Mountain Hawks will have at least four games on CBS Sports Network this season, and possibly more, with flex games and the Patriot League Tournament. Meanwhile, should Lehigh face Pittsburgh in the NIT Season Tip-Off on Nov. 13, it would air on ESPNU while the NIT Semifinals and Championship Game in Madison Square Garden are set for ESPN2 and ESPN, respectively.
Lehigh and VCU will square off on Jan. 5 at 5 p.m. in a game featuring two teams who advanced to the Third Round of last season’s NCAA Tournament. The Rams are just two seasons removed from their historic run to the 2011 Final Four.
The Mountain Hawks’ season opener at Baylor on Nov. 9 will air regionally on Fox Sports Southwest. The network operates in all or parts of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Arkansas. Opening tipoff is set for 5 p.m. Eastern (4 p.m. local time).
